I'm a long-time vegan and have been growing vegetables organically in my backyard for over 20 years. In 2021, I was thrilled to discover that veganic gardening is a thing, and I've loved learning and growing veganically ever since. This blog is mainly a place for me to keep track of when things were planted/harvested (as I have a lousy memory), and a place to store some gardening info and general garden ramblings. This will be ~95% edible-related, but a wee bit about some non-edibles, too. My yard is just a little postage stamp townhouse yard, in Ottawa, Canada, but -- even though it gets at most 4 or 5 hours of direct sun per day, it's amazing what can be grown!
