Tuberous begonia and button flowers transplanted into containers

The button flowers have been fully hardened off for a while now, so went ahead and put them into their permanent containers.

The tuberous begonia was part of Group B, but since its permanent home is full shade (along the fence) and it's huge for its little pot, I went ahead and transplanted it.  Very root bound but looks good so far.

Aha! Button flower is ageratum

Came across the labels from last year's store-bought plants.  Aha!  Button flower is ageratum, specifically Blue Hawaii 5.0, or at least that was what the seed came from.  (hybrid)

The three plants look great so far.  Amazingly bushy yet compact, I would have sworn each one consisted of a clump of seeds, but no; all that growth from one seed.  Really cute foliage/plant.  One is already flowering.

Sowed in paper towels: basil (one kind only); purple button flower; bidens flower

Basil:  Decided this year to only grow one kind, the Genovese seeds I bought online a month or two ago.

Purple button flower:  I liked this flower last year, which I bought; these are seeds I collected last year from that plant.

Bidens (orange/yellow):  Again, collected last year from a plant I bought last year.
